Responsibilities: Under the administrative supervision of the Eaton County Counseling Center Supervisor, provides a variety of direct and indirect professional psychological services within Adult Mental Health Services. This staff has training and expertise in behavior treatment planning via education and/or experience. Plans and implements psychological services for adults with SPMI such as developing, in servicing, and monitoring behavior support plans. Monitors program effectiveness and makes recommendations for changes as needed. Provide case management duties, when applicable, and when assigned, to a small caseload of consumers. Administers psychological diagnostic instruments and maintains a clinical caseload for those receiving behavioral services. In addition, trains staff and serves as a consultant to staff and other community organizations/agencies providing technical assistance as needed. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.


Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology required from an accredited college or university. Possession of a State of Michigan LP, LLP, or TLLP required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.


Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check, and verification of an acceptable work history. Must undergo and pass a Central Registry Screening. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $67,714- $75,737 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $86,079. 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


Location: Eaton County Counseling Center, Charlotte, Michigan.
