With locations in Georgia, Arizona, and Massachusetts, our team helps children aged 2 to 18 reach their full potential by developing critical skills for everyday life. About the Role: What You'll Be Doing:As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at The Treetop Therapy, you'll work one-on-one with children in their home and community settings, implementing behavior intervention plans and tracking progress. Your role includes:
- Collecting and recording data on individual client progress
- Conducting functional assessments
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Encouraging skill acquisition, behavior modification, and positive reinforcement
- Helping children develop the skills needed to succeed in both home and community environments
Each day, you'll play a key role in supporting children as they build essential skills for independent living, making a lasting, positive impact on their lives and their families.
What We're Looking For:This position is part-time and is based in Massachusetts, offering hours between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with the possibility for more hours in the future.
Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in ABA therapy, paraprofessional work, childcare, teaching, or a related field working with children
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities
- Ability to obtain CPR/BLS certification
- Strong written communication skills
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical requirements: the ability to bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs, as well as work on your feet for extended periods and occasionally on the floor
- Must be able to move quickly to ensure client safety
- RBT certification is preferred, but not required
