Job Description

LGTC Group is a clinician-driven, comprehensive mental health service provider seeking to hire Associate Clinicians (AMFT, APCC, ASW) to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility located in San Jose. https://lgtcgroup.com/sj-clinic

We offer outpatient psychotherapy for clients with mild to moderate acuity, while also offering Intensive Outpatient services (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Our programs are structured to provide a 'hands-on' learning environment utilizing the latest evidence based standards of care.

A typical IOP/ PHP clinician will split their time between facilitating IOP groups, individual sessions/ family sessions and case management for clients.

Location:San Jose/Campbell CA

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Psycho-diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement a treatment plan for patients and affected family members.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, dietitians and other clinicians regarding patients' progress and treatment.
  • Conduct Individual and group psychotherapy*.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in EHR
  • Psychotherapy groups are conducted in an appropriate and therapeutic manner using provided curricula or their own group process, depending on the specific group.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to provide mental health services ( AMFT, ASW, ALPC)
  • Must be able to learn and regularly use an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance.
  • Experience in Higher Levels of care setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge base and experience with CBT and DBT preferred!
  • Experience in treatment of clients diagnosed with eating disorders is strongly preferred and/or passion to learn and work with this specific population.
  • Bilingual in spanish is a big plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to use hands to handle or feel objects. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing and kneeling.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
