Love kids? Join our Team! Atlanta Autism Center is hiring to train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for full-time positions at our Covington location.


Training class is held at our Peachtree Corners location, Mon through Fri, 8a-5p, for 4 weeks. You will be fully prepared to sit for the Registered Behavior Technician exam. Upon passing, your rate will be promoted to RBT, and your rate will be increased to $20/hr. Once an RBT, you'll have the opportunity to level up to RBT II, RBT III and earn quarterly increases up to $26/hr.

Job Description - Registered Behavior Technician

  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement the individual treatment plan
  • Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
  • Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
  • Collaborate with the client family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.
  • Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines
  • Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement'COVID-19 Precaution(s)

Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED required; bachelors, or associate’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience preferred
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members
  • Computer skills
