Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProgressive Behavior Interventions is hiring part-time and full-time behavior technicians to provide ABA home therapy sessions to children with autism during after-school hours. Great job opportunities for students who want to work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Education. On-going training and supervision will be provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). BCBA fieldwork experiences can be accrued at work for qualified BCBA candidates.
Job Descriptions:
-The behavior technician will provide behavior therapy and implement treatment plans to client under the guidance of a BCBA
-Report to BCBA and parents about the client’s progress
-Follow BCBA’s guidance to provide verbal and hand-over-hand prompt to client as needed
-Take data accurately on client’s responses on a data-taking platform
-Write short session note for each session
Qualifications:
- The Behavior Technician must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- The Behavior Technician must have at least one year of experience working with children with autism in home/school and community settings
- Must be available to work after 3 PM on weekdays.
- Access to reliable transportation
- Speaking Chinese Mandarin is preferred but not required
-The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) license is preferred.

Home cases are available in Bayside, Whitestone, Flushing, Little Neck, and Great Neck.
