Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSolday is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency that provides behavior therapy to children and teens with autism and related developmental disorders. We provide these services to patients throughout the San Fernando Valley.
We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team on a part-time to full-time basis in the roll of Behavior Technicians. At least 6 months of prior experience in ABA is required. As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for performing ABA therapy sessions in clients' homes and/or schools and helping them achieve their behavioral and developmental goals. There are 3 positions currently opened.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Conduct one-on-one sessions to teach and reinforce positive behaviors.
Provide services in various settings, such as homes, schools, and community locations, while collaborating with families to ensure continuity of care.
Engage with families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy outside of session times.
Partner with BCBAs to refine therapy plans and support the development of individualized programs and assessments.
Assist in the development and implementation of new behavioral programs.
Utilize evidence-based strategies, including antecedent interventions and reinforcement techniques, to achieve treatment goals.
Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress, completing session documentation promptly and thoroughly.
Follow Solday's crisis and emergency procedures, including deescalation strategies, mandated reporting, and first aid strategies.
Demonstrate professionalism with all families and colleagues in spoken and written communication.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
Willingness to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check.
Must reside within the San Fernando Valley or an immediately adjacent community.
Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs occasionally, as some sessions may involve physical activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exhibit patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping children with disabilities.
Possess a valid Driver's License as well as proof of automobile insurance and have reliable means of transportation.
Flexibility to travel to various locations within our service area (the San Fernando Valley).
Training:
Candidates who clear the interview phase will undergo a comprehensive 4-day training program at our facility. This training is paid at a rate of $17.28 per hour and is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively conduct ABA therapy. This training also acts as a second round interview. Upon completion of the training and following a performance evaluation, successful candidates will be assigned client(s) to work with directly. Upon the assignment of a patient, the candidate will be given a job offer and execute an employment agreement.
Training is scheduled to commence January 20th through January 24th.
Pay Rate:
- Direct Hours: starting pay rate ranges from $22 to $25 per hour depending on prior experience. Direct hours are those hours spent working directly with clients, which are billable to insurance.
- Indirect Hours: starting pay rate is $17.28 per hour. These hours include training as well as other miscellaneous tasks that do not involve directly working with a client.
