Montare Behavioral Health is opening a new Primary Mental Health Residential Treatment Center located in Phoenix Arizona, and we are currently looking for Mental Health Workers!
This position is responsible for providing direct service to clients, and for facilitating the smooth day-to-day operation of the program. This position collaborates as a member of the multidisciplinary team (Treatment Team) to deliver effective treatment.
AVAILABILITY: We are currently looking for the following
- 12 hour shifts, 7pm - 7:30am, Overnights.
- Thursday - Saturday
All of our schedules include at least one weekend day.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with intakes, orient the clients to the facility and ensure they understand the rules of the program.
- Conduct and document rounds at their scheduled frequency to ensure the location, safety and well-being each client.
- Administer Urine Analysis, breathalyzer and covid testing on clients when indicated.
- Observe clients self-administration of medication and document appropriately.
- Build rapport and provide support to clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries at all times.
- Transport and attend offsite activities with clients such as meetings, gym, appointments and therapeutic outings.
- Ensure clients attend all scheduled groups and therapy sessions as scheduled.
- Prepare and facilitate groups as assigned and lead clients in organized activities.
- Review treatment plan goals with clients regularly and support clients in accessing community resources.
- Provide effective crisis intervention as needed and teach independent living skills effectively.
- Complete all charts, program documentation, medication management, shift/crossover reports, incident reports and other forms and reports according to company policies.
- Documents and communicates to the treatment team any pertinent observations and interactions had with clients.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe and in compliance at all times.
- Attend in-service trainings and all-staff meetings to complete 20 hours of continuing education per year.
- Other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School graduate or possess a GED. Coursework in counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.
- Experience working with in Mental Health preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player. Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a background check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire. Additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508). Clean Background is a must.
