Adolescent Growth, a network of mental health care programs founded in 2005, is on a mission to positively impact the lives of our clients, community, and employees. We provide a range of mental health services to adolescents with serious mental illness, primarily through partnerships with insurance companies. As our company expands, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team at Adolescent Growth and play a crucial role in empowering individuals on their path to recovery.
We are looking for a licensed marriage and family therapist, registered nurse, or clinical social worker to conduct utilization reviews at our corporate office in Pasadena, California. Candidates must hold a CA clinical licensure to be considered for this position. The role involves close collaboration with other clinical team members to approve and evaluate the use of mental health services in residential treatment programs and outpatient care settings. Responsibilities include ensuring that these services are suitable and essential for the clients and that they are receiving the highest-quality care. The role also involves gathering and analyzing utilization data.
Skill Proficiency Requirements:
· Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor, OR Registered Nurse
· Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience in a managed care environment, hospital, or residential treatment program
· Inpatient setting experience
· Ability to learn and navigate multiple proprietary software applications
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Rate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Outlook, Internet)
