Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole Overview: We are seeking a Behavioral Support and Transportation Specialist to work with children involved in the DFCS system, providing vital transportation and behavioral intervention services.
Key Duties:
- Transport children to school, medical appointments, and family visits safely.
- Use de-escalation techniques to manage and support children’s emotional needs during travel.
- Collaborate with DFCS caseworkers to provide updates on child behavior and incidents.
- Assist in implementing individualized behavior plans during transport.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in behavioral support or social services.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor.
