Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our established Chronic Pain Treatment practice in the Arden Arcade area. Our dedicated members provide the highest quality and most complete health care possible to the people we serve in our community and the greater Sacramento area. About the Functional Restoration Program: Patients attend a program for 8 weeks: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 - 3:30. You will participate in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ADL management, and relaxation and stress management as part of a program that also offers the patient exercise coaching, vocational preparedness, and nutritional instruction. Using this holistic approach from multiple disciplines, the goal is for each patient to become independent in life skills and pain management by the end of the program. Additionally, the Psychologist will also be providing psychological assessments to patients that have been referred for authorization to the Program.
Position Summary: We are seeking a CA licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide brief counseling and psychoeducational services to our English- and Spanish-speaking Functional Restoration Program participants as well as psychological assessments for patients seeking to get into the program. Qualified candidates are ethical, empathic, and dependable, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and provide high quality patient service.
Requirements:
· Current CA license in good standing required
· Completed PsyD or PhD degree in an accredited clinical, counseling, or health psychology doctoral program
· Work experience providing empirically validated psychotherapy and psychoeducation to patients with chronic pain
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required
