Anyone with hands-on experience in SPED or Pre-K as a teacher, paraprofessional, case manager, or support staff are encouraged to apply! Teaching license NOT required.
REQUIRED SHIFTS: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, approximately 2:00pm - 8:00pm
***You must be available all 3 days during the posted times to be considered. *** Qualified candidates could work additional shifts and hours once fully trained.
Brain Balance is looking for a dynamic, empathetic individual to lead students (4 years through adults) through our program. This position requires a motivated and passionate individual who will guide and assist children and adults through various activities that will stimulate the brain, improve brain connectivity, and create profound change in abilities.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum
- Experience with students who have high behavioral needs
- General knowledge of child development
- Ability to work cooperatively with other coaches, support staff, and parents
- High school diploma and moderate experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out and monitor the progress of enrolled students as they move through their specifically designed Brain Balance protocols
- Work closely with the Program Director to ensure progress
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, and program operation
- Attend staff meetings, staff development, and training as directed
Work Setting:
- Duties performed on-site in the Brain Balance center; no travel or in-home work required
- Position requires extensive interaction with children and adults of all ages, abilities, and behaviors

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
