Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will provide essential psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and consultations, to support student success academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. This role involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.

  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students mental health and academic growth.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

  • Provide counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

  • Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.

  • Conduct workshops and training for school staff and parents on relevant psychological and educational topics.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure pliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Valid Ohio School Psychologist license/certification.

  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, special education regulations, and intervention strategies.

  • Excellent munication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
