Job Description

  • Full-time
  • M-F
  • 37.5-40 hours per week
  • Februarystart - end of school year (with opportunity to renew for following school year if good fit)
  • Elementary caseload
  • 62 classifiedstudents on caseload
  • Duties: evaluations/testing (initials and re-evals), report generating, attendall Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to discuss initials, re-evals, annual and program review meetings
  • The current School Psychologist also functions as the CSE chairperson and 504 Chairperson (15 cases)
  • Further details will be discussed upon interview

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in School/Educational Psychology or related field
  • Current and active New York School Psychology Licensure
  • Experiencein assessments, IEP development, assessments, report writing, etc.
  • School experience
  • Comfortable collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve student success
  • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Punctual
  • Able to pass a drug and background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
