Start Date: 25-26 School Year Salary: petitive hourly wage and mensurate with experience

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Nevada. This full-time, on-site position involves working directly with students to support their emotional, social, and academic development. The ideal candidate will be mitted to creating a positive, supportive environment for students while providing psychological services and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention plans to support students social-emotional, behavioral, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to design and implement individualized strategies to support student success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
  • Support the development and implementation of 504 plans and IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations or critical incidents.
  • Educate and support school staff in areas related to mental health, behavior management, and creating a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives for student wellness and mental health.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Nevada School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal munication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the development of IEPs and 504 plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with psychological testing, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and counseling strategies.
  • Ability to support and educate staff on mental health issues and behavioral management techniques.
  • Experience working with a diverse student population and providing services to students with disabilities.
