Position Type: Full-time (30+hours/week) through 2024-2025 school yearwith opportunity for renewal
Caseload: 1:1 position with 8th grade male student, more specific details available on interview
Pay Range: $23-28/hour, paid weekly
As an RBT, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior intervention plans and support students with diverse needs in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.
- Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to modify intervention strategies as needed.
- Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and independence.
Qualifications:- Valid RBT certification.
- Solid understanding and practical application of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong organizational and data collection skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and munication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from supervising professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
