Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' cognitive, academic, and emotional needs.
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students dealing with emotional or behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized support strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs for students.
- Offer behavioral interventions and develop strategies for improving student performance.
- Provide crisis management and support for students facing immediate challenges.
- Advise staff on mental health issues and create strategies to support students in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Maine School Psychologist License required.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Proficient in psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
