Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement support plans.
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide psychological insights.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students in difficult situations.
- Train and advise staff on mental health strategies and behavioral management techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, counseling sessions, and progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid California School Psychologist certification.
- Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
