Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions to support students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address students' needs.
- Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Participate in student support meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents on mental health and behavior-related topics.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Experience in psychoeducational assessment and counseling.
- Knowledge of Special Education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and teams.
