In this role, you will work with students, educators, and families to provide comprehensive psychological support services. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' academic, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services for students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create effective support strategies.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-related meetings to provide input on student development.
- Offer crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Provide training and consultation to school staff on mental health and behavioral issues.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Experience in psychoeducational assessment and counseling in a school setting.
- Familiarity with Special Education regulations and IEP processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
