Job Description:
We are hiring a School Psychologist in Derry, NH for an exciting full-time opportunity! This position offers the chance to work in a hybrid/on-site setting and will focus solely on evaluations and observations for K-12 students. As a School Psychologist, youll work directly with teachers and parents to evaluate students needs and develop actionable plans to support their growth and well-being.
What a School Psychologist Does:
School Psychologists are essential in helping students overcome learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges. They assess students psychological well-being, provide critical evaluation reports, and assist with interventions and recommendations for school-wide improvement. If youre passionate about improving students educational experiences, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and student observations.
- Provide assessment reports and recommendations for IEPs.
- Work closely with teachers to implement behavioral and educational interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Participate in school meetings to help develop comprehensive support plans for students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification (NH or out-of-state with reciprocity).
- Experience with K-12 students a plus.
