Position Details:

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Employment Type: Full-time, contract position
  • Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and emotional well-being.
  • Provide counseling and mental health support, fostering a safe and supportive school environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights and recommendations to best support students educational goals.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of evaluations and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid California state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting student success in a collaborative environment.
