Inpatient Psychiatry Assignment in North Carolina

A facility in North Carolina has an immediate need for a locum tenens Psychiatrist. This assignment offers a robust support staff, covered travel and lodging, and weekly compensation.

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient setting
• 3-4 Advanced Practice Providers onsite for daily patient care
• Support from social workers, security, and hospital staff
  • Charting: Epic

Schedule:

• 7 on/7 off for at least 4-6 months
  • 24-hour call coverage during on-call shifts

Cases and Procedures:

• Primarily adult patients with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia
• Initial consultations and admissions
  • No procedures required

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active North Carolina medical license
• ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications

Travel and Lodging:

• Travel and lodging accommodations are provided
