Reports To: Medical Director
Annual Compensation Potential (DOE): $250,000 to $600,000 plus benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Outpatient General Psychiatrist / Partner for The Cassidy Mind and Body Institute Tampa Office. As part of our team, you’ll have immediate access to a network of therapists, psychologists and a team of collaborative Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a Florida medical license as an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be a recent board eligible graduate. Must have satisfactorily completed resident training of four (4) years in general psychiatry at a recognized graduate medical institution and have a valid and unencumbered DEA License.
Job Summary :
Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent mental illnesses including working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. This role involves conducting evaluations, prescribing medications, and providing therapeutic treatments directly and through oversight of team members. Flexible work hours are available.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes :
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe and manage medications as part of the treatment plan.
- Interest in interventional psychiatric care such as psychedelics and TMS
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in psychiatry.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Supervising physician extenders (Physician Assistants and/or Nurse Practitioners)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Desire to learn business and organizational development skills
- Previous experience in a clinical outpatient setting and/or a private practice outpatient setting
- Leadership skills and experience in managing a small team.
