Brownville, Maine: We invite a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to practice in a well-established and financially secure rural health center (FQHC) with a 40+ year history of successful operation. You will enjoy practicing in a modern facility with electronic medical records and excellent team-oriented support, to help you provide the best possible patient care.
New graduates are welcome to apply! Social Workers with previous FQHC experience will receive priority attention. This full time position comes with a convenient weekday schedule (8-5, M-F) with no evenings, weekends or holidays.
You will provide outpatient community mental health services to patients of most ages, from children to the elderly – many of whom are uninsured or underinsured. You will collaborate with primary care providers to identify, treat and manage mental health and psychosocial issues as a contributing member to the Integrated Primary Care Team. You will see people as individuals, couples, families, or in group therapy. You must have strong communication skills, and the ability to travel between practice clinics when the need arises.
