Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPride Health is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Rehabilitation Medicine to support our client’s medical facility in Manhattan, NY 10016. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Rehabilitation Medicine. 40 hours per week (Days: 8 am – 5 pm) 13 weeks.
• Valid Licensed Clinical of Social Work (LCSW) license issued by NYSED.
• Master's Degree
Licensed Clinical Social Worker:
• Assess, diagnosis, and provide treatment for patients using the DSM-5, for both substance abuse and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop appropriate supports and interventions, discharge planning, service coordination.
• Demonstrate proficient skill in evidence-based practices and theories to work with adults, children, and their families.
• Screens admissions for high risk patients who need social service intervention.
• Assesses patients and families’ abilities and/or needs they may interfere with rehabilitation and medical progress.
• Assists patients and families to fully utilize community resources.
Experience required:
• 1-year LCSW experience required.

• Weekly Travel Pay: $2700/week to $2900/week
