Job Overview:
A school district in Washington, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to students, staff, and families by conducting assessments, developing strategies, and fostering an environment conducive to academic, social, and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, including IEPs and 504 Plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Lead professional development sessions for staff on topics such as behavior management and mental health.
  • Stay current with best practices in educational psychology and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Washington State School Psychologist Certification.
  • Experience in a K-12 setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and psychological evaluation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
