Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Compensation
• The pay for this position is $55 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with an every-other-weekend requirement (40-hour guarantee)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Responsibilities
• Perform individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations
• Perform risk assessment and intervention
• Provide behavioral health consultation to members of the multi-disciplinary clinical team and correctional personnel
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
• Support and/or direct care coordination efforts for patients returning to the community requiring ongoing behavioral health services
• Initiate, complete, and maintain patient treatment plans
• Participate in team meetings
• Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives
• Direct special projects as requested
• Conduct in-service training programs and assist in the orientation of new staff
• Prepare documentation, records, and reports as needed
• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Other duties as assigned by management
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Requirements
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or another related mental health discipline
• Unrestricted, current license in the state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, or Psychologist)
• Counseling experience in a correctional setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
