Current Openings:

Swing shift role, running 12 hours, from Noon to Midnight.

Day shift role, running 12 hours, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Overnight Float (shared campus role, may be scheduled at the Lakehouse or the Farmhouse campus)


Schedule:

With the except of the shared campus float position, employees are scheduled for 3 and 1/2 shifts, either Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday. Wednesdays are the 1/2 shift day.


The BHPs in this role serve an essential role, spanning the daytime, evening, and night programming for our residents.

BHPs provide supervision and support the physical and emotional safety of our residents, as part of a multidisciplinary team. They work in conjunction with the medical & residential teams to facilitate transitioning residents throughout their shifts.

Some of the core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting healthy life choices and decision making with residents in the milieu
  • Providing positive, trauma informed interventions for de-escalation during key transitions time
  • Role modeling and promoting a culture of inclusion, kindness, and respect amongst residents and staff alike
  • Participating in on-going professional development opportunities, as well as regular supervision meetings.
  • Maintain 100% supervision at all times, to ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents
  • Respond to program, behavioral, and medical needs in accordance with Ironwood policies and procedures

Requirements

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass extensive background checks, including fingerprinting
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Experience working directly with youth preferred
  • Experience with behavior and group management a plus

Ideal candidates will have experience working with adolescents in a residential setting and demonstrate a solid understanding of professional boundaries.

Salary Description
$20 - $23 per hour
