Job Summary
We are seeking licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic! We are offering full or part-time positions working with children, teens, and adults experiencing various mental health issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, family/relationship issues, grief, and others. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. We offer flexible schedules and the option to work in-person, remotely, or hybrid. Join our team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual or family therapy sessions via telehealth or at the office (in-person optional).
- Document client assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, discharge notes, and other required documentation in an electronic health record within established timeframes.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and attend regular meetings to coordinate care.
- Attend virtual and in-person agency training, required supervision, and continuing education requirements to advance therapeutic skills.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in counseling, social work, or a similar field
- Active State of Maryland license (Masters level and above)
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
