THERAPIST: Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor
Therapist Position Summary:
The Licensed mental health professional is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to patients. This is a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality treatment using evidenced based practices.
- Plan and carry out appropriate individual, family, and group interventions relative to the needs of the patient.
- Provide health promotion and training as requested.
- Acquire and maintain appropriate clinical licensure, practice within scope of licensure as directed by Maryland COMAR and appropriate Board of Licensure
- Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Licensed mental health professional. Must possess a State of Maryland license of LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C. Applicants who do not have a license may also apply pending receipt of the required license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
- Possess skills in crisis intervention, evident base treatment, and client advocacy.
