(Remote position;must be licensed in Michigan) Practice for Teletherapy Clinician and/or in person around Livonia,MI area!


Seeking licensed candidates who match clinical specialties. Specialties include :


Substance abuse, Marriage and family therapy, Group work, Sexual health, Trauma informed work, LGBTQ+, Child therapy including, Autism, Adolescent LGBTQ+,End of Life counseling, Depression, Anxiety, Grief counseling, Geriatrics, CBT, ACT, Strength based counseling, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Therapy, Psychoanalytic therapy, Strength-Based therapies, psychoanalysis, behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, humanistic therapy and integrative or holistic therapy, Etc.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide social work services to patients and their families in a medical setting

  • Conduct assessments to determine the psycho-social needs of patients

  • Develop and implement care plans based on patient needs and goals

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate patient care

  • Assist patients and families in accessing community resources and support services

  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families

  • Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate care

  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records

  • Supervise and document limited license medical social workers during counseling sessions

  • Review and meet with LMSW to discuss their progress


Qualification Requirements:



  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field

  • Therapy license (Preferred)

  • Previous experience working as a Medical social worker (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of medical coding, research, and documentation practices

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • Licensed in Michigan

  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, or related field

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Commitment to providing high-quality care
