  • Consultation/Referral: Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside professionals to address school-related problems, participate in IEP meetings, coordinate parent meetings, and make referrals to community resources.
  • Developmental/Preventative Guidance: Provide guidance for students to support developmental and preventative care.
  • WAVES Program Oversight: Help manage the WAVES Behavior Modification Program, setting individualized goals for students based on their IEP.
  • Behavior Support Plans: Monitor and create behavior support plans as needed.

  • Knowledge of school-based and community resources, particularly in mental health, social services, and education.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

The Learn Academy is proud to offer a collaborative team approach, professional development, and structured, strong mentoring program.
