Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to work on-site in our [K-12/Elementary/Secondary] school setting. The successful candidate will provide prehensive psychological services to students, staff, and families, helping to promote academic success, mental health, and emotional well-being. The On-Site School Psychologist will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to assess, support, and implement interventions for students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional evaluations, to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide consultation for students with special education needs.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create positive learning environments and manage student behavior.
  • Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide mental health initiatives.
  • Offer professional development and training to school staff on topics such as mental health, behavior management, and supporting students with special needs.
  • Support students with school adjustments, bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and coping strategies.
  • municate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and case notes in pliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or the ability to obtain certification/licensure).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnostic tools, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
