Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

About the Position:
Vocovision is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor for a full-time, remote position working with an New Mexico-based K-12 school district for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This role offers flexibility with the convenience of working remotely, while providing essential services to students across the district.

As a Vocovision contractor, you will have the opportunity to deliver evaluations, assessments, and psychological services to students using a variety of virtual tools and resources. This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week commitment, with guaranteed hours and the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and counseling services to students in grades K-12.
  • Conduct virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with school teams to develop appropriate interventions.
  • Use data-driven approaches to assess students' emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.
  • Offer consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff on mental health issues and behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Mexico School Psychologist Certification (must be licensed in NM).
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students - at least 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of school psychology principles, assessments, and intervention strategies.
  • Comfort with technology and virtual service delivery.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with school teams and families.
  • Passion for supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students.
