Sunbelt is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contracted position near Chino Hills, California. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Your work will directly contribute to improving the lives of our clients and their families by teaching new skills, reducing problem behaviors, and promoting independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by BCBAs and follow established protocols with fidelity.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy and support to clients in various settings, such as homes, schools, or clinics.
- Collect and record data accurately on client progress and behavior.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of client skills and behaviors.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, including BCBAs, parents, and other professionals, to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to enhance professional development.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping individuals reach their full potential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
