DESCRIPTION
Exhibits high levels of customer service, compassion, professionalism, and empathy to all patients at all times.
Works closely with the practice manager and medical assistant in scheduling appointments and oversees patient flow in the office, practicing safe and healthy control methods while working with patients
Participates in provider meetings and staff meetings as determined by the Medical Director
Interprets test results to diagnose health conditions and provides feedback to patients.
Counsels’ patients regarding medications use, side-affects and compliance expectations.
Completes patient evaluations and physical exams with thorough, timely documentation to include coordination of care
Follows best practice clinical guidelines to accurate diagnosis and treat patients
Maintains detailed, timely medical record documentation including patients' progress with medication and/or treatment.
Contacts patients' PCPs and/or specialists when clinically indicated.
Makes referrals to other specialty providers when clinically indicated.
Evaluates lab results and consults with Medical Director/Supervising Physician regarding abnormal findings
Reviews any unusual medication adjustments with the Medical Director/Supervising Physician
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Current N.P. or P.A. Delaware license in good standing
EMR software experience
Current CSR Certificate and U.S. DEA Substance Registration Certificate (Data 2000 Waiver)
Must have DEA X Number
Prior experience with Chemical Dependency treatment preferred.
