Outpatient Psychotherapist

Better Morning emerged as an outpatient behavioral health practice in Ashburn, VA in the year of 2014.

In addition to providing counseling from the Ashburn office, Better Morning started off as a certified provider for intensive in home and community-based services (IHCBS), for at risk youth in District of Columbia.

In August of 2017, Better Morning was certified as a Core service agency (CSA) by DC Department of Behavioral Health. Better morning founder’s passion for at risk youth and their family were the motivation to keep expanding the evidenced based programs to meet the need of the underserved population.

Job Description

Better Morning behavioral health services is certified by Department of Behavioral Health, DC as a core service agency. Better Moring currently provides counseling, psychiatric services, intensive community-based services and community support. Better Morning is expanding evidenced based services and looking forward to hire LPC, LICSW, LGSW, and LPC.

Duties and responsibilities

• Completes assessments, and treatment plans
• Provides couple/ family/individual therapy -onsite and offsite( in home and in the community)
• Collaborate with other treatment providers
• Document each session within 48 hours
• Attend all the EBP trainings

Education:

Master’s degree in social work, Psychology or related discipline is required

Licensure:

Must have one of the following District of Columbia certifications: LICSW, LPC, LGPC or LGSW

Experience:

Psychotherapy: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship, Contract

Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 (Full-time salaried)
