We are working with a school near Medford, Massachusetts to meet their need for a permanent School Psychologist.
Job Details:
- This is a full time job working directly for the school
- Very manageable caseload comprisedof approximately twenty-five elementary and middle school students withmild to moderate developmental, cognitive, social/emotional, and behavioral delays and disorders
- Job Responsibilities:
- conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- providing consult and support services
- program management, supervision, and oversight
- providing crisis management services, as needed
- facilitating individual and small group counseling sessions
- establishing IEP goals
- collection, interpretation, and management of pertinent data
- Requirements:
- Massachusetts School Psychologist license
- Experience working as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge and skills in administering psychological testing, working with students with a wide range psychological and mental health related challenges, alternative methods such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapyand other psychological interventions, and current special education systems and laws
