Full-Time Opportunity, 25 Hours Positive Behavior Support Specialist paired with 15 hours Direct Support Professional
Positive Support Services promotes community participation, person-centeredness and inclusion. We serve people with disabilities who have been approved for waivered services in home- and community-based settings. Services will provide positive support strategies to promote and increase skills and self-determination for those striving to improve their quality of life.
This position will provide direct support to client, staff, and/or family with positive support services, which consists of implementing the behavioral plans, collecting and recording behavioral data.
Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Associate degree in a social services discipline or nursing
OR - Two years of supervised experience working with people who exhibit challenging behavior as well as co-occurring mental disorders and neurocognitive disorders.
Must have the ability to complete required hours of training and demonstrate competencies related to Minn. R. 9544.0040 and Minn. R. 9544.0020, subp. 47 within the first ninety (90) days of hire.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, car insurance, and must meet insurability standards. Must be able to meet all employment requirements, defined by CCRI's policy and procedure manual.
What are the hours?
- Monday-Friday, must have availability of 2-7 P.M., 25 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling, if paired with Direct Support Professional hours each week.
