Job Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Interview, assess, diagnose, and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care

  • Prescribe psycho-therapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders, including MAT

  • Collaborate with other Behavioral Health and Medical Professionals to discuss treatment plans & patient progress

  • Provides supervision of other psychiatric prescribers, mentoring of students and/or APRNS, and signing treatment plans.

  • May include On Call Responsibilities



Additional General Requirements:
Professional positive attitude, understanding of customer service principals, trustworthiness and excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
MD/DO from an accredited Medical School and Completion of Residency Program specializing in Psychiatry Board Certified. The job also requires a State of CT license, DEA, and Controlled Substance certificate.

Experience: 2 years of experience

Language Skills:
Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Spanish preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification Required:
