Job Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
:
Interview, assess, diagnose, and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care
Prescribe psycho-therapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders, including MAT
Collaborate with other Behavioral Health and Medical Professionals to discuss treatment plans & patient progress
Provides supervision of other psychiatric prescribers, mentoring of students and/or APRNS, and signing treatment plans.
May include On Call Responsibilities

:
Professional positive attitude, understanding of customer service principals, trustworthiness and excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
:
MD/DO from an accredited Medical School and Completion of Residency Program specializing in Psychiatry Board Certified.
The job also requires a State of CT license, DEA, and Controlled Substance certificate.
Experience
: 2 years of experience
Language Skills
:
Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Spanish preferred but not required.
