**Position Overview:**


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.



**Key Responsibilities:**



  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs and develop accurate diagnoses.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.

  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.

  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation.

  • Complies with federal, state, and local regulations as well as standards set by CMS and JC; follows professional standards of ethical conduct in the provision of medical and psychiatric care; follows the policies of Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare.


**Qualifications:**



  • Must possess a medical degree with licensure to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.

  • Must maintain board certification or eligibility of certification in psychiatry.

  • Strong clinical and leadership capability.

  • Eligibility for APA membership.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and problem-solving skills required.
