Join Rebecca Schools, a network of private therapeutic day schools serving children ages 3 to 21 with neurodevelopmental delays, including autism spectrum disorders. Founded in 2006, we use the DIRFloortime® model to foster communication, social interaction, and personal growth. Our skilled educators and therapists collaborate in thoughtfully designed sensory gyms, art studios, and bright classrooms, creating a nurturing environment where students thrive.


What we offer:

Compensation: Base salary ranging from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00, depending on education and experience.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Generous PTO and paid holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a caseload of students for counseling
  • Family counseling, support and education
  • Classroom consultation
  • Crisis management
  • Perform and supervise psychological assessments
  • Prepare written reports identifying the student's needs and proposed treatment strategies, goals and objectives; maintain progress records
  • Participate on the IRB committee and in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings, clinical team meetings and Greenspan meetings
  • Provide psychoeducational training to staff as needed
  • Social/Emotional curriculum development
  • Maintain professional competence by attending staff development and continuing education programs
  • Training and supervision of Psychology students



Qualifications:

  • Ph.D/Psy.D in Clinical, Counseling, or Clinical/School Psychology
  • Valid NYS License and State Certification
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
