We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver one-on-one therapy to clients based on their individualized behavior plans.

· Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce concerning behaviors.

· Implement behavior intervention strategies, including reinforcement and behavior modification techniques.

· Collect and record data on client behavior and progress according to behavior plans.

· Work collaboratively with BCBA, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of therapy.

· Under the supervision of a BCBA, educate and support clients and caregivers by providing guidance on behavior management techniques and therapy goals

· Assist with the creation and modification of individualized behavior plans under the supervision of the BCBA.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

· Must be at least 18 years old

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be willing complete and pass a background check, a 40-hour training program, RBT Competency Assessment, and board examination. Must submit approval paperwork to the BACB within 30 days of hire.

· Ongoing maintenance of certification through continuing education and adherence to BACB's renewal requirements is required.

· Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field is preferred.

· Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques and data collection methods is preferred.


Certificates or Licenses:

· Obtained certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

· Possession of valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

· Proof of auto liability insurance in accordance with Montana law, and insurability with The Arc Western Montana insurer of record.


Salary Description
$25.00/hr
