SCHEDULE:
- An RBT will work on all student days during the school calendar year, 8am - 3pm
LOCATION:
- Engle Education Center: 257 State Rd, West Grove, PA 19390
- New school opening April 15, 2025
A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
- The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support
- The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA
To be successful in this role, you must meet all of the following expectations:
- School-based cases, must have availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year
- Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
- Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma or equivalency
- National certification as an RBT - active
- Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training under Edition Task List 2 who need onsite competency by a BCBA
- Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs - preferred
CREDENTIALING
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript
