Requirements:
· Clean background check
· Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Board-approved 40-hour RBT course
· BACB competency eval (done with Select Specialty Services BCBA)
· Pass exam with BACB, administered through Pearson-vue
· CPR/BLS certification (must be an in-person course)

Responsibilities:
· Provide direct 1:1 therapy for children diagnosed with Autism
o Engage with clients in a professional but fun and caring manner
o Take detailed, accurate data on behaviors and skills
o Implement behavior plans, as written by overseeing BCBA
o Engage with clients to teach a variety of skills, as programmed by BCBA
o Communicate with parents and BCBAs clearly and professionally
o Keep baseline data, probe new skills, conduct preference assessments, etc. as directed by BCBA
· Keep paperwork and data up to date
o Understand and fill in all behavior and programming data sheets as session occurs
o Complete session notes (templates provided) and to submit to BCBA within 48 hours
o Fill in binders at the end of each session
o Keep maintenance cards up to date and organized
o Complete monthly summaries on assigned clients, graphs provided by BCBA
o Maintain electronic timesheet and submit on the first of the month
o Keep notes in communication log for BCBA, update calendars for cancellations, get sign in sheets signed, get calendars signed, etc. as directed
o File data sheets in correct spot in client binders
· Administrative tasks
o Keep workplace clean and orderly
o Complete needed/assigned cleaning tasks
o Restock consumable items (paper towels, edible reinforcers, tissues, etc.)
o Return materials to their spot, return tablets to be charged, etc.
· Professional responsibilities
o Be on time or early for sessions
o Communicate needs and concerns with BCBA
o Dress in a casual but professional manner (such as a preschool teacher would dress)
o Maintain a neat and clean appearance
o Be organized and timely; communicate if you need clarification, help understanding, or extended timelines for tasks
o Be kind and courteous with clients, parents, staff, etc.
o Take feedback professionally
