Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a startup company seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team full time at a local school in the area. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized care plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, education, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Salary:
19$-26$ per hour
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
Assist in developing and updating care plans based on individual needs.
Provide direct support to clients in various settings, focusing on improving daily living skills (ADLs).
Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor client progress and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.
Collaborate with special education staff and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with care plans, special education practices, and behavioral therapy techniques is preferred.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining medical records is essential.
A background in patient care or related fields will be beneficial for this role.
Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are critical for success as an RBT.
