Registered Behavior Technician RBT

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their goals through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in care and support.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Document medical records and maintain accurate medical documentation as required.

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is beneficial.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, care plans, and medical records management is an asset.
• Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and principles.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
