The Bradley Center of St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our growing geriatric psychiatric unit. This Registered Nurse will be responsible but not limited to:
- Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing patient care duties for our geriatric unit.
- Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the established patient care philosophy.
- Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
- Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; and participate in all phases of education.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associate degree in nursing Required (RN)
Bachelor’s degree in nursing Preferred (RN)
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a busy environment and take appropriate action when needed.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire preferred.
ACLS-preferred.
Licenses:
Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or multi state/compact RN license.
Minimum Work Experience:
Six (6) months of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a direct patient care setting preferred.
Experience in a behavioral health facility is preferred.
New RN graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
