Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, 1099 contract position (37.5 hours per week), and the position is open to candidates based in Washington State. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in school psychology, with a preference for those who have previous experience providing services virtually.
As a Remote School Psychologist, you will work directly with students to support their emotional, social, and academic needs, collaborate with school staff, and conduct assessmentsall from the fort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Review student records and collaborate with educational teams for IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided.
- Offer consultation to school staff and parents regarding student behavior, mental health, and academic progress.
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed School Psychologist (Required).
- Previous virtual/teletherapy experience strongly preferred.
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Current Washington State certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Strong knowledge of school-based mental health services, IEP processes, and assessments.
- Excellent munication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards in all areas of practice.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and fortable working independently in a remote setting.
