Remote Virtual School Psychologist - Wisconsin (School-Based)
We are looking for a Wisconsin-licensed School Psychologist to join our virtual team, supporting K-12 students with remote psychological services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual School Psychologist to join our team and provide remote psychological services to students in a school-based setting. This role will involve conducting assessments, providing counseling, consulting with educators and parents, and creating a supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be adept at delivering teletherapy and virtual services, with a focus on fostering student success both academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify and address students psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and behavior plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide virtual counseling and mental health support to students, both individually and in groups.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being, offering guidance on strategies to improve classroom behavior and support academic progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Conduct virtual crisis interventions and provide support in emergency situations.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and teletherapy, continuously adapting to students' needs in a virtual environment.
Requirements- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: State licensure as a School Psychologist, with the ability to practice in the state(s) where students are located.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist, with prior teletherapy or virtual service experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with teletherapy platforms (such as Zoom, TheraPlatform, etc.) and familiarity with educational software.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with students, parents, and school staff.
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling remotely.
- Compassionate, empathetic approach to supporting students mental health and academic needs.
- Highly organized, with excellent time-management skills to balance caseloads and documentation requirements.
- Certifications: National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) preferred.
- Availability: Flexibility to work during school hours, with occasional availability for after-hours support as needed.
